recap books

Sometimes special things force their way into your lives. Welcome to Recap Books, a service that forced itself upon us, just like this good girl!
Our problem – your solution
When Amy got a little worried about all her memories on Facebook, she set out on a mission to take control of all the work she put in to telling our family’s story with captioned, curated photos of almost every event. After she figured out how to get her data from Facebook, she found it incredibly frustrating to use. So, together we built a way to turn that data into a simple, convenient format. When we finished, we realized we could help others do the same and Recap Books was born. If you want a simple, safe way to preserve your social media memories in a keepsake book, we want to help.
Two Regular People who like each other
Amy has been documenting the many adventures of our family on Facebook for years. She has worked in human resources for small manufacturing companies, marketing with the U.S. Army MWR, and took the full-time role to raise our four kids for fourteen years. She currently works for our local community foundation helping nonprofits impact the community, and she supports and manages programming and grant funding, particularly in early childhood development.
Jeff has been posting pictures of fish and sports on Facebook for roughly the same amount of time, but with much greater irregularity. Jeff served in the U.S. Army as a Field Artilleryman and Anti-terrorism Officer. He is now a professor and runs leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship programming.
family owned small business
When we realized our personal project could help others, we started Recap Books. We have truly enjoyed helping every client and we want to help you safely preserve your social media memories so you can confidently share those memories forever.
